Camille + Robert

Twenty Mile House, Cromberg + Lake Tahoe

California rarely fails to deliver when it comes to diverse and beautiful natural spots. We’re lucky enough to have Joshua Tree National Park on our doorstep, and Palm Springs just down the road. But in the hot summer months we love to shoot at the coast and up in northern California. Camille and Robert’s stunning forest wedding was at Twenty Mile House, near Graeagle in the forests of the Sierra Nevada. It is a great venue for a couple who love the outdoors and it suited Camille and Robert perfectly. There is a creek that runs through the back on the property, alongside a set of railroad tracks with its own private beach. The ceremony spot is nestled in a grove of mature pine and cedar trees. The whole venue has a feel of natural peace and calm which infused the whole wedding.

Another bonus for Camille and Robert was that Twenty Mile House allows dogs, so they were able to bring their pup, Indy!

We met up with Camille and Robert (and Indy) the day after their wedding for an adventure session at Lake Tahoe, a place that’s very special to the couple.
