Samantha + Jeremy

Most couples couldn’t pull off doing all the event and floral design for their own wedding with just the help of their friends and family but Samantha and Jeremy put together a gorgeous wedding at the Ruin Venue.

It was our second time shooting at The Ruin — a wedding venue near Joshua Tree — which is the remains of an old stone house where a gold miner lived about a hundred years ago. It makes a great venue for couples looking for an unconventional spot to get married.

We loved the way Samantha and Jeremy chose to style the spaces — from the handmade macrame hanging at the ceremony site to the skulls and air plants on the tables — they put together elements that both reflected the desert environment and their own aesthetic.
