Sarah & Brandon

We were excited when Sarah and Brandon contacted us to film their sweet elopement in the high desert near Joshua Tree. They were planning a simple ceremony with a buddhist blessing, and wanted to focus on each other and the beautiful landscape.

They chose the Rock Reach House as their venue, a unique modern steel house tucked away in the western hills of Yucca Valley. They timed their ceremony for sunset, and the mountains around turned pink and gold as they read their personal vows.

It was their first time visiting the desert, and we knew they wanted the landscape included in their film, so we shot the area with both on the ground and aerial footage to include in their film.

We loved their simple and intimate celebration, and felt honored to be one of the few there to witness it. It was our first time shooting an elopement and we can’t wait to do more!
