“If you're considering The Quail & The Dove then you should already know their videography skills are unparalleled (if not... pause and go watch some). What you might not know is Jim and Melissa are a Dream to work with. Since we were doing a destination wedding we had a few facetime conversations prior to the wedding which really made it feel like we already knew them when it was wedding day. Instead of just being another vendor, Jim and Melissa felt like an extension of our friends and, I mean this in the best way, they were largely invisible for most of the time. They were even unfazed by our excessively large and loud dog trying to eat the fluffy microphone on the camera all day. They captured all the special moments, big and small, and were so seamless in their approach that even with just 24 guests, they blended in. We also didn't want a lot of direction or "staging" and they were very cool about just letting us do our thing and capturing the moments organically. The post-wedding aspects were also very easy to work with, we went back and forth until we found songs that we loved and they were able to license, and they were able to turn the video around in about 2 months which is way quicker than we were hoping. From day one until video delivery day they were quick with responses, professional, honest, and open. If you're still reading this, the point is, you should book The Quail & The Dove without hesitation and you won't regret it.” - Janice + Austin
