Beth + Danielle

Lake Tahoe + Twenty Mile House, Graeagle

Beth and Danielle first connected over their shared love of wine, whiskey, and cocktails. The connection deepened through trips to wineries and time spent together, and before long, Beth popped the question!

The wedding took place at Twenty Mile House, a beautiful venue tucked away in the north-east Sierras. We knew there would be many special moments to capture throughout the day, including the breaking of a tea set that was a family heirloom. Beth and Danielle broke the tea set so it could be mailed to Japan and put back together using the art of kintsugi. This technique leaves gold seams where the cracks once were, playing with the ideas of imperfection and wholeness.

For their adventure session, we met up with Beth and Danielle (and their pups) at Lake Tahoe on a gorgeous, warm spring day with the snow-capped and majestic mountains in the distance. Beth loves the beach and Danielle the forest, so Lake Tahoe proved to be the perfect spot.
