Jamie + Blake’s Garden Wedding Featured on Green Wedding Shoes!

We’re excited to share the film from Jamie and Blake’s dreamy garden wedding, which was just featured on Green Wedding Shoes!

We shot their beautiful wedding this spring, working along side one of our favorite planners, Perfectly Poised Events. Jamie and Blake chose to have an intimate wedding with just their closest family and friends in the middle of Descanso Gardens in Los Angeles.

Our favorite part of the feature on GWS was Blake and Jamie’s sweet words about their favorite moment from the day:

Blake: “Trying to choose the most memorable moment on your wedding day is such a difficult task. When I stop and think about the day, which is often, there are so many moments that make me so happy and full of joy. All in all it was the most incredible day. One of the most memorable moments for me had to be the first look. I have never been excited as I was standing there, waiting for her to come up behind me. When I heard her voice time seemed to stand still. I turned and, waiting there, was Jamie. Her beauty was so radiant, I just wanted to stay in that moment forever. We were both smiling and laughing and crying all at the same time. They were tears of joy—what we had talked about for so long was finally happening.”

Jamie: “It’s almost impossible to pick just one moment from the entire day! I think one of the best feelings out of the entire day was when Blake and I did our first look. I made sure to stand far enough behind him so he could see my whole ensemble, then I told him to turn around, and he was already crying. It was the cutest thing ever! We finally got to see each other after an entire day of running around and getting ready. The first look is so special and it’s a private moment you get to have before all the craziness starts!”
